1. Navigate to the User Management page in the Administration area.
  1. Click on the row of the user to be edited.
  1. Click the Edit button in the top right of the screen. Editing may occur in the following areas:

  • Account settings:
    • Email Address: The email address of the user that is used to log into the platform; this field has a maximum character limit of 128 characters
    • User Type: The type of account for the user; select from:
      • End User: This type of user has access only to their own account page. This type of user can be added to any population on the system and given population specific privileges there.
      • User Admin: This type of user has access to the Populations and User Management pages in Administration and the General and Security pages of all populations on the system. This type of user can be added to any population on the system and given population specific privileges there.
    • Password: A button labeled “Change” is displayed in place of the non-explicit dots.
  • Basic information:
    • First Name: The first name of the user; this field has a maximum character limit of 164 characters
    • Last Name: The last name of the user; this field has a maximum character limit of 164 characters
  • Populations: This is a read-only view of the populations to which the user has access.  The Populations section is strictly read only; even when the page is put into edit mode, the Populations cannot be deleted, added or changed in anyway from this page.
